Quick Cash Loan

To say the least, Marsha Payday was surprised to see the bill for a $400 quick cash loan appear in her usual assortment of love notes and after-prom party requests. But I never even applied for a quick cash loan, this is impossible! She might not have applied for the cash loan, but somebody did and now the repayment was squarely on her shoulders. Disaster! Whoever is responsible will pay, and it won't be through another instant cash loan.

Marsha looks for her fake quick cash loan applicant
All Marsha had to go off of were the facts:

Someone applied for a $400 payday cash loan under her name
In order to apply that person needed information easily found on a personal check.

She looked in her check book and matched the check numbers to her close recollection of payments - there were no missing checks! Then she looked to see who she wrote a check to who might have had access to her information: the department store, Jillian Randall for letting Marsha borrow that dress, Bobby for cleaning Marsha's room, Mr. Alexander's soda shop...Bobby!

What $400 can buy an 8 year old
Marsha ran to the boy's room, knowing exactly who took out that $400 quick cash loan, and who she forced her way into the room without knocking, she found to her amazement Bobby and Cindy laying on the floor, licorice everywhere, and comic books stacked all the way to the ceiling.

- We didn't take out any quick cash loans under your name, we swear!

- Who said anything about a quick cash loan?

The two were speechless. Cindy began to cry an incredible apology, and Bobby slowly packaged up all the candy and brought all the comic books into Marsha's room.

- Thats a start. Now you own me $400.

For the next six weeks Bobby and CIndy operated a lemonade stand at the busiest corner in town, and when they finally had the $400 to pay back the quick cash loan Marsha took the money, laughed, and bought the three of them a new pair of shoes.

Thats what family is for!
